We bought three pecan trees this week and had one installed in the front yard and two in the back between the shop and house. They are from over on 114th and Quaker at the pecan orchard over there. Apparently it's been sold and is going to be a new housing development. Where are these people coming from? Who the heck wants to move HERE?!?
Anyway- we got these three trees pretty cheap and we hope gets some shade and eventually some nuts (in two years)

I was just reading yesterday that "if you have a pecan tree, you are rich indeed" and thought to myself that I am screwed for wealth due to my climate. ;) awww...now you can be even more like Marianne-she loves her pecan tree!!
